SONDER & SMOKE was born during a time of stillness and uncertainty. Like many, I was searching for comfort and turned to candles hoping to create a sense of calm and connection in my space. But what I found were generic scents, poor-quality wax, and products that felt rushed and impersonal with little lasting presence.

So I began creating my own.

What started as a personal pursuit has evolved into a curated collection of luxury candles and textured artworks designed to fill spaces with depth, emotion, and lasting atmosphere. Rooted in a boho-luxe aesthetic, each piece is crafted with the intention to feel both elevated and deeply personal.

From extended burn times and rich scent projection to signature cotton and wooden wicks and distinctive, design-led vessels, my focus has always been on creating objects that not only look beautiful but perform with purpose.

Every candle and artwork is handmade on the Northern Beaches of Sydney using premium materials that are carefully sourced for both quality and intention. Each fragrance is thoughtfully categorised whether bold and masculine, soft and floral, sweet and nostalgic, or grounded in nature so you can choose what resonates with your space, your mood, and your identity.

Scent has the power to transform a room and the energy within it. A citrus note to uplift your kitchen, driftwood in the living room to ground the evening, something soft and floral by the bedside to settle the mind. Through scent and texture you can shape your surroundings and in doing so reconnect with what you love, how you feel, and who you are.

Alongside scent, I create textured art pieces that are deeply tied to emotion. Art has long been a source of inspiration and comfort for me, offering a way to bring depth and feeling to a space. Each collection explores a new theme whether elemental, abstract, or introspective bringing depth and movement to your walls. These pieces are designed to be seen and to add an expressive layer to your space.
